We
are delighted that you have expressed interest in Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps.
You
will
find that Spirit is committed to provide you with the highest standards of
education
and
performance. We are committed to balance hard work with fun and fellowship. You
will
create memories and friendships through Spirit that will last a lifetime.
Spirit
is housed at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. Nestled in
the
foothills
of the Appalachian Mountains, JSU provides Spirit with excellent rehearsal and
housing
facilities that are surrounded by a beautiful and safe campus environment. As a
member
of Spirit you will experience a very friendly atmosphere, which will make you
feel
like Jacksonville is your second home.
As
a member of the Spirit family you will grow not only as a musician, but also as
a
person.
You will attain ideals and personal growth that will assist you throughout your
lifetime,
and will teach you the discipline and respect for others that will enhance your
success
in any field of study. The bond in the Spirit family is second to none. Once you
become
a member you truly have a second family.
If
