Staff
To be announced soon!

Front Ensemble Audition Exercises...will be taught at the audition camp.

To all 2006 SPIRIT Percussion Auditionees:

Thanks for your interest in Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps. We are assembling a great percussion staff for the upcoming season and the design team is busy working on next year's show. You will get a quality education from this knowledgeable and experienced drum staff.

Everyone should download the percussion exercises and prepare those for the audition camp.  In addition, those of you auditioning for the front ensemble should prepare a published solo or etude. Please do your best to prepare the materials so that you can get the most out of the weekend with the staff.

You will need to bring your sticks and mallets. All percussion equipment will be provided for you. Anyone playing snare or tenor that can bring a set of drums would be helpful, but not required. Everyone should bring a 3-ring binder notebook and a practice pad. You will be receiving more exercises and a cadence at the first camp.  Make sure that you bring whatever toiletries and linens that you would need for a 2-night stay on a gym floor.

If you have any questions about the camp, please feel free to e-mail me (cgillesp@jsucc.jsu.edu) or give me a call (256-782-5562). I am looking forward to meeting all of you at the camp. This is going to be an exciting year!

Good luck!

Sincerely,
Clint Gillespie
